I went back to get some shots of the hawks today. I walked out into the field and tried to get some shots of they baby as he was hopping around the nest acting crazy. Then, as I approached the nest, from somewhere far away I heard Mama scream and he disappeared from view only peeking out occassionaly...I thought I'd wait him out until his parents landed on the power poles on either side of the nest and as you can see from the second photo...Mama was MAD so I decided to take my leave!
